As a wise man once said, "Dating is when you pretend to be someone you're not, to impress someone you don't even know!" That always makes me smile because it's so true! Of course dating can seem like a serious business - after all we're potentially risking rejection every time we date someone. But the attitude which attracts us most to others and which makes us seem most attractive is a light-hearted sense of fun which doesn't take itself or the world too seriously.
A casualty of a seriously bad date recently admitted, "I could tell that she was starting to feel comfortable with me when she used my tie to wipe mustard off her mouth." Ouch!
