We all see them advertised on television, on the Internet, on billboards as we sit in traffic on the way to work, and we see them splashed across our mind’s eyes, every time we long for a chance to get somewhere special and enjoy some intimate private time, celebrating the passion of our romance with our special someone.
It takes a long time to find just the right person, and once we do, we deserve to have a honeymoon, whether we are newly in love, newly in lust, or newlywed. But they usually cost too much, in terms of time away from work and travel expenses, and so most of us don’t get to experience our dreams of a romantic, sexy getaway vacation.

your relationship is not like the rest, so why should your getaway be conventional?
Maybe it is time to look around and find our own getaway, instead of just relying on the travel agencies to sell us their prepackaged plans. After all, your relationship is not like the rest, so why should your getaway be conventional?
Get Creative
First step: figure out your budget. If you have no money to spend on your getaway, then plan it using creativity instead of hard-earned capital. You can set aside time alone together, either at home or at a place like a nearby public park, lake, beach, or garden, and prepare an evening of indulgent massage, music, and dancing; a little secret lovemaking under moonlight, or even a candlelit or lamplit picnic, out under the stars.

if you feel especially romantic, take a few days and nights to tour the countryside by train.
If you have a little money to spend, then instead of spending it on expensive travel arrangements to go away to some exotic island, save it up and have a night on the town. Maybe rent a limo, and just ride around for a couple of hours, cavorting like rock stars on the leather seats with champagne in a bucket of ice. Or rent the penthouse of a nearby hotel, on a night when they offer discounts, and live like the rich and famous for a special overnight honeymoon.
You can always rent a car, but stay in a cozy fireside tent instead of fancy hotels, or if you feel especially romantic, take a few days and nights to tour the countryside by train.
Mini-Getaways
And don’t forget the little mini-getaways. A full-fledged vacation may not be possible, but we can all spare an hour here and there for a little romantic liaison with our significant other. For example why not meet up during your lunch break, and instead of just hanging out for a quick snack and coffee, go to an art museum, botanical garden, or the nearest planetarium, to do something special.
If you are really adventurous, you can spend the hour in the elevator, stopped between floors, and bring along chocolate body paint or wear nothing underneath your raincoat. Just make sure you avoid the security cameras, or you might wind up on the evening news!
