Few things can beat the enjoyment of settling down with a really great book. I don't read a lot of fiction these days but I love to learn and discover new things, especially about dating and relationships. Fortunately there's no shortage of new books on these subjects to keep me busy!

If I'm So Wonderful, Why Am I Still Single?

by Susan Page

Susan Page is well qualified to write about relationships since she founded the first ever University-based human sexuality program at UC Berkeley back in the 80s and is now a full-time relationship counselor and writer.

"If I'm So Wonderful" provides 10 strategies which she identified in her work as being critical to success in her clients' love lives. What I love about this book is that it features many excellent anecdotes about her clients which clearly illustrate each of the strategies. Some relationship books have a tendency to be dry and academic but that's not the case here.

Susan also challenges the reader with a series of revealing exercises which are designed to identify what aspects of your beliefs or behavior may be holding you back from finding true emotional fulfillment with a loving partner.

Ultimately, if you're single and you don't want to be anymore then you have to be willing to make changes in your life. "If I'm So Wonderful" helps you identify the specific problems that may be holding you back and shows you what to do about them.
